Full job description

The associate provides direct clinical services under the supervision of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in a private practice setting. This role includes assessment, treatment planning, psychotherapy, and documentation. The pre licensed clinician supports individuals, couples, and families with a variety of mental health needs in compliance with state regulations and practice policies. The position offers split pay, which can range based on insurance provider reimbursement rates, but pay for each hourly counseling session typically starts at around $50/hour and can be up to $70/hour. Pay for documentation duties and administrative duties $20/hour. Opportunities for increased percentage split based on caseload size.  

 

While not mandatory, would prefer candidates with prior experience providing mental health services in an agency setting. Weekly supervision is included is offered online or in-person, and counseling services can be provided remotely or in-person. Please feel free to email with any questions.

Candidates from within California will be considered, however, in-person supervision will be required biannually in Paso Robles, CA.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments and develop treatment plans.

• Provide individual, couple, family, and group therapy.

• Document sessions in the electronic health record (Simple Practice) in compliance with legal, ethical, and insurance requirements.

• Administer and interpret clinical screenings and outcome measures.

• Collaborate with supervisors, peers, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure quality of care.

• Maintain timely communication with clients, supervisors, and support staff.

• Attend weekly supervision and required trainings.

• Participate in case consultation, staff meetings, and quality assurance activities.

• Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality standards.
